Weekly social and recreational activities for seniors and adults aged 50+. All seniors are welcome and programs are FREE with SCCC membership!

Chinese-Speaking Seniors Program

art & music Poetry Senior Program

Senior participants are Chinese speaking. Activities include: art, music, poetry, excursions, computer instruction, English language literacy, health and wellness activities, workshops on aging and mental health, and arts and music-based initiatives.

Spanish-Speaking Seniors Program

Communication Social Senior Program

Senior participants are from a variety of South American and Spanish-speaking countries. Activities include: excursions, computer instruction, English language literacy, health and wellness activities, workshops on aging and mental health, and arts and music-based initiatives.

Line Dance Fitness

Dance & Music Seniors Senior Program

A fun way to stay active and meet others with similar interests! Learn new dance moves from our peer leaders. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes to participate. No experience required.

Introduction to Computers, Internet and Online Social Networks

Learn & Social Senior Program

This course helps older adults be more comfortable using a computer, the Internet and online social networks. The program includes time for both instruction and hands-on practice. If you would like to use your own laptop or tablet, bring it with you!

Singing Social Club

Dance & Music Seniors Senior Program

This group is passionate about singing Chinese and English songs, being social and having fun! They also participate in performances and events, excursions, trips, workshops, and much more. Light refreshments are provided.

Bingo Social Club

Seniors Social Senior Program

This is a program for older adults to have fun and be social through bingo games! The group also participates in excursions, trips, workshops, and much more. Light refreshments are provided.

Tai Chi & Tai Chi Sword

Relax & Stretch Senior Program

Participants learn by watching and following the more experienced members of the group, but may receive individual instruction if desired. We meet indoors during the winter, and outside in Alexandra Park during the warmer months. Wear comfortable clothing and footwear and come prepared to enjoy your practice!
