Childrens' Programs
A host of social development and recreation programming for children ages 6-12. Many services are FREE with SCCC membership!
Afterschool Kids Club
A “Walking School bus” picks up children ages 6-12yrs old afterschool from Charles G. Fraser & Ryerson CS to go back to Scadding Court for a variety of daily programs: including reading and bookmaking, Computer Club, Arts & crafts, physical activities, homework help and more. Activities vary from season to season. A healthy snack is provided.





Summer Day Camp
A high quality summer program for children ages 5-12, the range of activities include arts and crafts, drama, swimming, reading, cooking, sports and field trips. This program includes integration of children with disabilities where possible.





March Break Camp
A high quality one (1) week day camp that offers a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, swimming, reading, cooking, sports and field trips.





Mentorship Program
Pairing children with mentors from U of T’s Faculty of Medicine, weekly activities include: cooking, reading, trips to the Science Centre, and more. Themes include: nutrition, cultural appreciation, physical activity, literacy, creativity, goal setting, behaviour modelling and STEM education.





Saturday Children’s Program
A variety of Saturday programs for children 6-12 including a Reading Circle, Arts & Crafts, Video Club and Games Club. Activities vary from season to season. A healthy snack is provided.





Children’s Ball Hockey
Offered Saturdays, youth ages 6-12 learn hockey skills and drills, make new friends and spend time with fun and friendly staff! No equipment needed.




Children’s Basketball Program
- What: Learn basketball with a qualified instructor. Drills, technique, skill building and more. Please wear appropriate shoes for the gym.
- Who: Children 6-12yrs old
- When: Every Thursdays 4-530pm till March 9th, 2023

Annual Middle School Newcomer Recognition Scholarships
An annual award of $100 each to two students in area middle schools in recognition of their support to newcomer students adjusting to the Toronto school system. The awards are based on demonstrating friendship, providing peer guidance, and offering assistance when needed.





Children’s Badminton Program
- Who: Children 6-12yrs old
- What: Instructional badminton skills for children 6 to 12yrs. 9 week program. Learn the rules of the game, techniques, footwork, and have fun doing it. Divided into 2 age groups & time slots: 4-5pm is 6-9yrs old & 5-6pm is 10-12yrs old
- When: Every Wednesdays 4-6pm till March 8th, 2023

Children’s Dance Program
- Who: Children 6-12yrs old
- What: Dance for children 6 to 12yrs. An encompassing instruction in various types of dance. Divided into 2 age groups & time slots: 4-5pm is 6-9yrs old & 5-6pm is 10-12yrs old
- When: : Every Tuesdays 4-6pm starting Jan 24th till March 7th, 2023

- Who: Children 6-12yrs old
- What: Kick boxing for children 6 to 12yrs. Intensive training in kick boxing.
