Women Boxing and Fitness Program

WHY | To support newcomer youth in achieving success in school, developing friendships, accessing programs and services, learning about Canadian culture and getting connected to their community |

Athletics and Recreation
Open to youth of all ages, this program provides opportunities for physical activity, team-building, physical and social skills development, making friends and having fun. Activities include: badminton, basketball, ball hockey and volleyball.
Newcomer Youth Program
For youth ages 13- 17, recreational activities include basketball, badminton, boxing, soccer, hockey, table tennis, workshops, computer labs, cooking, art projects, board/video games, outings, homework club and English conversation circles.
HeARTWork
For youth ages 16-24 affected by mental health and/or substance use concerns. Peer-led group discussions (health promotion, substance use prevention, harm reduction); youth-led music production (beat production, studio time); workshops, visual arts (animation, painting, photography); wellness, spoken word and writing workshops.
