Newcomer Entrepreneurship Hub (NEH)

This program is offered partnership with Toronto Metropolitan University’s Diversity Institute, and funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. The Newcomer Entrepreneurship Hub (NEH) program offers aspiring newcomer entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs FREE pre-incubation training by industry professionals and experts, mentorship by local entrepreneurs and other business professionals, access to networking and pop-up market opportunities, and wraparound supports.

Cohorts are currently offered in hybrid format, with week-day Zoom sessions and Saturday sessions on-site at TMU.

Our next cohort begins in October 2023.

Women’s Entrepreneurship Hub (WE-Hub)

This program is offered in partnership with Toronto Metropolitan University’s Diversity Institute and is funded by ​the province of Ontario’s Women’s Economic Security Program. The Women’s Entrepreneurship Hub (WEH) program offers low-income, self-identifying women FREE pre-incubation training by industry professionals and experts, mentorship by local entrepreneurs and other business professionals, access to networking and pop-up market opportunities, and wraparound supports.

Cohorts are currently offered in hybrid format, with week-day Zoom sessions and on-site at TMU.

e-Hub Creatives

This free e-commerce program is an extension of the Stitch Lab and Entrepreneurship Hub training initiatives offered by Scadding Court Community Centre. In 2022, e-Hub was generously funded through the City of Toronto’s Business Incubation and Commercialization Grant Program. 

The e-Hub Creatives program offers workshop sessions taught by industry experts and members of the local business community,1:1 clinic opportunities with industry experts, and a free product or portrait photography shoot.

Eligibility: e-Hub serves Greater Toronto-Area based self-identifying women with existing creative businesses or current business ideas. Examples include: fashion designers, illustrators,  jewelry makers, and other makers and artisans.
