| WHO | Children aged 3 – 5 and their parents/caregivers (focus on newcomers, but all are welcome) |
| WHAT | A program to develop child language, social, reasoning and self-help skills through literacy enhancement, encouragement of pre-reading skills, letters and numeracy, circle time, and sensory activities. Learning about healthy eating and nutrition is integrated into program activities. Workshops for parents/caregivers on parenting and educational issues are provided. |
| WHY | To prepare children and their parents/caregivers for successful entry into the school system. |
